Vacancy: Project Manager

Your responsibilities

Have you already earned your stripes in leading mid-sized IT projects? Are you looking forward to a job with impact? Good news, we are hiring a project manager!

Some of your duties include:

• You monitor the scope, budget, schedule and quality of each project.
• You prepare the communication plan in consultation with the client. And you communicate it in detail to your client and Geo Solutions.
• You monitor the progress of each project. You communicate consistently about that, too.
• You will organize kick-off meetings and workshops with the client, and be closely involved.
• You provide periodic demos on the state of the application to the customer.
• You ensure smooth collaboration with the team of architects and analysts. After all, they will take care of the development and delivery of the project.
• Project completed? You provide the formal closure.

Because your sense of initiative does appeal to us. Although there are many other reasons why you and your expertise are an asset:

• You have a degree in IT, geography, bioengineering, computer science or similar.
• You look back on a first experience with GIS applications. AND you are ready for more!
• You are familiar with the ups and downs of an analytical role, and no challenge scares you.
• You are already familiar with business process modeling and UML.
• You enjoy demonstrating your strong analytical skills and regularly push the boundaries of your conceptual thinking skills.
• You speak Dutch fluently, but you know how to speak English et un petit peu de français aussi.
